Day 10 - Friday, August 7, 2026

Even in the morning the caretakers were kind (maybe it helps to be doped?): the guy took me out of a short kayak ride on the river, it was a nice way to start the day.

Then I enjoyed Karlovy Vary by daylight; I tried the mineral water from one of the drink fountains - and spit it out, not mine. I spent a couple of hours wandering around it town, then I left, following the river.

A highlight was a covered bridge, in fact, it looked as if a house were built over the river. The road was mainly flat, until quite an incline, from the top of which the view was real pretty.

In the afternoon, I got to a pretty town of Klasterec nad Ohri, then to Chomutov.

I got to a sizable lake, with a large campground. There were all kinds of activities - a disco at a bistro, a rock bank playing loud music. I pitched my tent and went to sleep.

Close to 95 kilometers I rode that day, with 900 meters of elevation.
